GENEXPERT MTB/RIF PCR in Hyderabad
This test detects the presence of bacteria (Mycobacterium) causing tuberculosis along with the resistance to the first line of treatment drug. It is done by Nucleic acid amplification method.
Why Take this Test
If you are a suspected case of Tuberculosis or if you have Pyrexia of unknown origin since 15 days with symptoms probably of Tuberculosis or if you have lymph node swellings which are not responding to antibiotic therapy.
Is this Test For You
Anyone with suspected Tuberculosis or with contact with known person or Immunocompromised patient or if not responding to Rifampacin therapy can get this done.
