• Why Take this Test

  If you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have been exposed to people who have symptoms or if you have returned or travelling to region/country with high rate of infection, you may get tested. You will know if you are Covid Positive, so that you can take timely action to self isolate and get appropriate treatment. RT-PCR is more reliable and sensitive method of detection of the virus in the body. Each state has different rules and requirements for RT-PCR test.   Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most people infected with this virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention. Older people and those with underlying medical conditions (co-morbidities) like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, or cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. The virus can spread from an infected person's mouth or nose in small droplets when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe. Masks are a key measure to reduce transmission and save lives. Overlapping symptoms with Influenza virus may mimic Covid. COVID-19 vaccines provide strong protection against serious illness, hospitalization and death.
