Book SMEAR FOR AFB / ZIEHL - NEELSEN STAIN - URINE DAY 2 test in Gulbarga

Patient Preparation:Use only STERILE, dry, wide mouthed, leak proof, screw capped plastic container about 300 ml capacity to collect urine for AFB (Acid Fast Bacilli). Early morning urine sample should be collected on three consecutive days or as per physicians' instructions. Wash the hands with soap and water. Clean the genitalia before collecting urine. Collect first early morning urine sample into the container. Minimum of 300ml of urine sample to be collected in the container Screw the cap on container tightly and keep in a leak proof cover. Collected sample should not be contaminated with water or stool particles Reject Specimens Urine collected in leaky / unsterile/unlabeled containers or from urinals, bedpans, bags of catheterized patients.
