Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited (VDCL) (“the Company”) has always been a responsible Corporate Citizen and it has various societal obligations. It always seeks ways to make a positive Impact on the society at large. The Company has developed its CSR policy in accordance with Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013 and the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility policy) Rules, 2014 notified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government Of India. This policy, henceforth called “VDCL CSR Policy”, underlines the guiding principles and mechanisms for undertaking various CSR activities/programs by the company.


Education:

  • Government schools at Inole Village, Patancheru, Hyderabad was built for local students to provide better infrastructure. We provided 100 chairs to the school so that the students and teachers can comfortably sit and concentrate on the education which improves the quality of teaching.
    • Classrooms of Government School, Patancheru are provided with wall mounted black boards as part of quality of the learning and teaching.
    • In ZPHS Kondapur, Mazeedbanda, Serilingampally built toilets including urinal and wash basin and for the male students to provide better cleanliness, hygiene and privacy.

Healthcare:

  • To provide relief from heat in summers at Government Hospitals, installed 100 ceiling fans in-patient wards, out-patient department, nursing stations and patient waiting area at Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad.
    • MNJ Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer Centre always has full occupancy and it caters majority of patient from rural areas. So to improve the quality of care and reduce the burden from these patient, we provided 10 BP Apparatus, 10 Stretchers, 10 Wheel chair and 10 Medicine Trolleys.
    • Government General Hospital, Kurnool is one of the busiest OPD in the region and both doctors and patient needs to sit for long hours. To assure the comfortability of the Doctors, their chambers are provided with 30 leg revolving chairs and stools for quality health services.
    • The largest state run Modern Government Maternity Hospital (MGMH earlier known has Jachgi Khana), Puranapool, Hyderabad was equipped with 100 Chairs for waiting area and consultation rooms, 10 BP Apparatus for emergency wards and operation theatres, and 20 wall mounted fans for IP wards.

Social Welfare and Skill Development:

  • Support Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) to set-up a small sanitary napkin unit in Vavilala Villlage, Jinnaram Mandal, Hyderabad. This provided employment to six women of village and also provided best quality and hygienic sanitary pads to the rural women at an affordable cost.
    • Donation to Andhra Pradesh Fishermen Development Welfare Services Association.
